Adopt a Bulldog / Hound (short coat)

Hard to believe my girl Persephone is still waiting for a home. She has been in our program for 9 months. Rescued from a rural shelter, starving and dumped like trash. She was a momma dog discarded like so many others.

Persephone is a bulldog/hound mix, 2 years old. She loves other dogs and plays well with them. She is housebroken and crate trained and did we me mention she loves people!

Persephone will need to be fed separately from others as she went too long being starved she is protective of her food. Her previous foster home has 6 other dogs and Persephone was able to live happily with them since everyone has their own bowls and eat in their own designated spots.

Persephone is now back the shelter to give her more exposure. She runs in a playgroup with 5 other dogs of different ages and sizes and does very well. She loves play time and enjoys going for walks. She will be a perfect pet for someone interested in a loyal, outgoing, fun loving dog!

 Adoption Applications can be submitted at www.pchumane.org under Adoptable Animals tab.  Please allow 48 hours for a response during normal business hours. (Wednesday-Friday 11-6 and Saturday 10-2).  Applications can also be submitted over the phone 580-767-8877 during normal business hours.

Adoption fees include: Spay/Neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormed, heart worm check (negative), current on flea/tick medication, heart worm preventative, and 30 Days of Free Pet Insurance. Also included is any other treatments needed for the health of the pet (dental cleaning, mass removals, etc. if applicable)
